PuebloPlex invites the public to participate in the second round of community meetings for the PuebloPlex Redevelopment Plan scheduled for August 12 and August 14, 2025, in Pueblo and Avondale. These meetings mark a critical phase in the planning process and offer residents, businesses, and local organizations the opportunity to shape the long-term future of this transformative site.
Date: Tuesday, August 12, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: Pueblo Community College - Student Services Building, Conference Room C | 900 W Orman Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004
Date: Thursday, August 14, 2025
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: McHarg Park Community Center | 405 2nd Street, Avondale, CO 81022
This round of meetings will present a summary of existing site conditions along with an overview of redevelopment opportunities and constraints. The presentation will be followed by an interactive workshop where attendees will participate in identifying and mapping future land uses. Input gathered will directly inform the development of land use alternatives.
The PuebloPlex Redevelopment Plan will provide a strategic framework for the reuse of the former Pueblo Chemical Depot, a 23,000-acre property undergoing transition following decades of military service. The plan will guide future investment, job creation, and infrastructure development, establishing PuebloPlex as a catalyst for long-term regional growth.
